Blue Ridge Lacrosse Programs
Blue Ridge Lacrosse offers exciting opportunities for all age levels to learn and participate in lacrosse. We offer divisions for every age for the spring season:
- Elementary Team (grades 3-4)
- Junior Team (grades 5-6)
- Middle School Team (grades 7-8)
- High School
- Girls
In addition, Blue Ridge Lacrosse conducts clinics throughout the year with the opportunity to improve skills, enjoy some fun competitions and learn more about lacrosse. Check the schedule for upcoming clinics and activities.
If you're in the Forest/Bedford County area, contact the Forest Youth Athletic Association about their programs. They are located on Thomas Jefferson (811) in Forest. Elementary Team
Open to all boys in grades 3 - 4. Elementary players will practice and play in an instructional/recreational league based in Lynchburg with minimal games and one practice per week. Focus is on building skills and learning fundamentals in a fun and safe environment. Full protective equipment is required and must be provided by the player. Open to all boys in grades 5 - 6. The Junior Team will complete against several other lacrosse clubs and school teams in the central Virginia area. Most games will be played on Saturdays with some weeknight games. Juniors will play 10+ games throughout the season and practice 2 - 3 times a week. Open to all boys in grades 7 - 8 attending any middle school or home school equivalent. The Middle School Division will complete against other middle school teams and some club teams in the central Virginia area. High School Team
Blue Ridge Lacrosse Club does not sponsor a high school program. High School lacrosse is offered for boys and girls at EC Glass High School and Virginia Episcopal School. Other high school aged boys wanting to play can contact Victor Clarke with Forest Youth Athletic Association at Victor@bebetterdomore.com for information on the Forest High School club team.
We are excited to announce our new girls program. This is a free clinic to introduce girls in grades 2-8 to the game of lacrosse. It will be held on Wednesday from 5-6pm at the Spottswood Field. Older girls a welcome to come help develop the teams of the future.
